Residing in New York City, Edgar Alacan is co-founder of private jet company Jets.com and leads the firm’s day-to-day operations as managing director. Focusing on prioritizing client and employee safety, Edgar Alacan helped build the firm from a three-person startup to more than 50 employees while generating annual revenues exceeding $40 million.
Prior to launching Jets.com, Mr. Alacan worked as a private jet coordinator for Concord Private Jets, serving as the main contact person for international and domestic travels within the company and ensuring that all trips went smoothly and to the client’s standards. He also sits on the board of PietrosFight.Org, helping increase awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a genetic disorder.
Edgar Alacan earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Brooklyn College and maintains affiliation with the Business Aviation Network, Aviation Professionals, WYVERN, ARG/US, and The National Business Aviation Association. Outside of his professional life, he regularly exercises by walking, riding his bicycle, and swimming.
